Objectives

Over the years, the main thrust of operation of CHAN MEDI-PHARM has been hooked on achieving the following objectives:

• Promotion of equity of access to essential medicines to the poor and medically needy through a network of rural-based healthcare system and drug depots
• Promotion of use of generic essential medicines enabling a reduction in costs of treatment for the poor
• Promotion of access to antiretroviral medicines through the use of generic ARVs
• Promotion of rational use of medicines in order that patients may get greater value for their patronage as well as reduction of untoward effects of medicines when consumed.
